after the game I was watching NESN Extra Innings, and during the whole clubhouse celebration i was specifically looking for Mike Stanton. Im interested how he has been recieved on the team or if he has just pretty much been excluded from everything.

On another note: I think he was received by the team pretty well. They showed him actively engaging in conversation with the other bullpen pitchers and they looked like they were having a good time laughing, so I don't think you need to worry about him :D

hey everyone im back from the best game i have been to in my life!! i will post pics i took when able to put them into my computer ;)

everything just seemed to go right especially schilling who just delivered out pitches after giving up hits. yankees had 11 hits and scored once, it looks like they stopped trying after sox quickly took the 6-0 lead. I believe that by now its clear a weakness in the yankees is that what we've seen for last month or so now, if you get the starting pitcher out early its a 100% definite you will put up a 10 spot on them.

best pitching: Above all Schilling returned to his form though giving up a # of hits was lights out, was also his 2nd consecutive start against the yankees. Bronson, Papelbon, Delcarmen, Myers and Timlin all contributed just so greatly

best offense: was manny our MVP or what this last series of the season--HR today and 3 RBIs has Manny ending 2005 with 45 HRs, 144 RBIs--Ortiz ended the season with the lead in RBIs at 148--Bill Mueller connected for a solo HR, 10th of the season--Doug made it more of a blowout with his pinch hit 3 run HR left center field, his 6th of the season--Everybody was drawing walks, though with this bullpen im not surprised

best defense: Manny's pick off of Jeter to start the game

edgar got by on him trying to barehand a ball that slipped by him, was not ruled an error, rest of the game did play solid D

other than that, it was such a rush even to not pay attention solely on the game, whole crowd staring at the scoreboard knowing its the 9th and just wanting to see that slab pulled down. the end of game celebration is just too much for words for me...

OK thats good to hear, I dont want a disgruntled ex-Yankee over there

But I'd imagine he would stay with the team through the playoffs like all of the players who were up in September but not put on the postseason roster.

Here's a long shot...you can probably tell by my user name what I do for the sox. I was on the Sox dugout after the game during the celebration on the field and appearently I had a clear, front shot on NESN for about 10-15 seconds. Noone who saw me or anyone period taped the game/celebration. I was wondering if any of you had it on disc or anyway I could probably get a copy? That would be awesome. I guess I popped up near the end of the celebration. Thanks to anyone who can help!
