If he is able to get the bunt down for a hit then I can understand it because you guys dont need 2-run HR's right now. You guys obviously need baserunners I've seen Giambi do it this year and be sucessful. But still you guys dont pay him to bunt anyway.

I understand, but to take the bat out of one of the top RBI and Home Run leaders to bunt, when he's a slow runner to boot, and this is like the 3trd or 4th bunt in his career. I don't think it makes sense.

I agree I have seen teams in the past rest players and not worry about HF.
