same here, I have the Sox game on gameday which is at my desk then I have to run to the living room to watch the Yankees/Jet game.

sox pitchers have been getting same attention from umps in this orioles series. basically what happens each seasoin, the umps mostly dont want to give the hot teams an easy go

I dont know how you guys feel but I have felt the plate has gotten ALOT wider this year then in years past. From what I heard quest-tec is being used in less and less in ballparks.

Joe goes to Gordon. Wang's line 7IP 6H 3R 3ER 1BB 3K. He was good again. Just one major mistake to Hinske and that was it really. Another game in which he allowed only 1 flyball out.

that was about 2 feet off the plate. As I said before the plate has expanded this year.

i was seeing matt clement throwing same pitches and he ended up throwing a lot of called "balls", so the strike zone isnt the same for all umpires

lol yeah. I can deal with an ump that is consistant with the way he calls the game. But its when the plate gets smaller and then bigger all of a sudden. Thats what pissses me off sometimes.

the plate has been very wide today for both teams, i noticed that too.

good game to say the least. Wang was a little shaky but still good overall. Rookie mistake by Cano, thats ok he'll learn with time. Jeter and Crosby out there in shallow left was pretty entertaining today the few times they almost collided. Heads up by Posada to get Catalanatto in the first. Cant really be down on Gordon, wasnt all his fault. Mo was shaky, hope it doesnt effect him tomorrow, but even more hopefully, i hope we dont need to use him tomorrow since we're playing Baltimore. Kay and Kaat brought up a good point today, baltimore has now dropped 8 straight (i think its 8), and we need every game in this series, which would mean they would have to drop 12 straight, which is very unlikely, so we cant guve games away with baserunning and defense blunders.
