I thought the mick jagger line was appropriate as the Stones tore up Fenway literally and figuratively last month.

My name is Geoff Hanson and I live in Wilmington, NC. I grew up in Ct. in the land of the Yankees but fell in love with the Red Sox at an early age -- it was the nicknames -- Dewey, Yaz, Boomer, Butch....

Anyway, I wanted to join the forum because there's not anyone around here to chat with when Francona doesn't manage the staff the way I think he should, or whether or not Papi will win MVP -- I gotta say the fact that A-rod is a gold glove contender will make it tough for Papi -- but anyway....

The other thing is I wrote a book called Curse To Verse: The Red Sox Miracle Season from A to Z. It is an illustrated book about 2004. Proceeds are going to the Red Sox foundation. It is a work of love and a nice keepsake for sox fans.

The site is http://www.redosxatoz.com.

Enough self-promotion. On with the chatter.

Saturday night was a key win for the Sox. They needed that one badly. And a hit by pitch RBI is quite a way to win.

Over and Out.

Another quick Boston story.. I was up there last week trying to do some promotion and I was listening to WEEI and I heard the following phrase 3 times in one day...

"How's that working out for you?"

As In "The Yankees past on David Ortiz. How's that working out for you?"

I thought that was pretty funny.

All Red Sox fans....young and old......are welcomed! Look forward to your posts and comments on other inputs. Have to agree with you.......Tito makes some questionable decisions and I like you....suffer through those misques. Again welcome for a Sox Nation fan in OK.

Welcome!

I took a peek at your website, and I must say that your book looks GREAT! I'm always looking for new alphabet books for my classroom, and this one looks like it needs to join my collection! (it's always nice when I can buy a book for my classroom that's really my own guilty pleasure!)

Again, welcome!
