Is Felix Hernandez eligible?

He is, but he won't win it. He's only been pitching since the middle of August. It would be unfair to the rookies who have been playing since April and May.

yea, and besides, Hernandez will be eligible again next year as well.

Another Cano shot. Sure making his case in the important games. Possible hoping to sway some voters!!

Wow these annoncers and everyone complaining about this ejection are ridiculous. You have no idea what Randy said to the ump. Technically I believe they are allowed to toss you for any profanity, so all he had to do was say f***, and the ejection was justified. So until we know why he was ejected I don't think it's fair for you guys, and these annoncers, to get on the umpire.

where are you watching the game. Its not on MLB extra innings because they dont air games from Canadian stations and the Yankees are on UPN's Friday Night Yankees on the local UPN affiliate. And ESPN is showing the Sox game with the alternate as Royals vs Guardians.

MLB.tv?

I think Cano will win, but Johnny Gomes is certainly more deserving.

His ROY chances will depend on the memory of the sportswriters. He has made several big errors at costly times this year. If he can keep the hot bat he's had the last few days and play the field cleanly from here on out, then he's got a real good chance to win it.

I think Street will win though if the A's make the postseason. I mean, come on, a rookie closing games down the stretch to get his team through a pennant race. Unfortunately for Huston, I don't think the A's will make the playoffs.

wow, never would have expected to hear that from a Sox fan. lol

I'm probably going to regret saying that, because I'll get the Yankee fan accusation from some people here.

Something that was lost on this game is the Yanks used Rivera yesterday and had to use him to save an 11-10 game after blowing a 9 run lead. If torre keeps this up, he's going to kill the guy

I don't care if we win 11-1, 11-10 or 1-0. A win is a win, and a blown lead when your starter is gone after two innings on a ******** tossing, it is not reprehensible.

They won, case closed.

still your own team has questions about the bullpen

I think last night we learned more about Joe Torre than we did our bullpen. Him siting there as an exhausted Scott Proctor loaded the bases, after an otherwise brilliant relief performance, is an image Yankee fans should not ignore. This season his management of the bullpen has been questionable, at best.

Riverside, you certainly try and fight the good fight, but people in glass houses ought to think twice about throwing stones. I would take the Yankees BP over ours every day of the week and twice on Sundays.
