s if everyone didn't alreayd know, we need these games. Not even because of the Red Sox, if we lost the next two games and the Red Sox won, I wouldn't be happy, but I wouldn'y be that mad ONLY IF we weren't playing the Sox this weekend, I want the Momentum going into that series, and i, and odds are it'll happen, the Red Sxo win the Znext ttwo game up to the Yankees games, I wanna be close with them for momentum.

For some reason, games when Kevin Brownm Randy Johnson, and Carl Pavano start we do bad on both sides of the ball, because they all suck, maybe, but if pitching Small, Wang, Wright and such players with non big contracts(exception Wright) to win, I;'m all for that

The Yankees need to hammer Doug Waechter. I'm tried of these s*** pitchers (Joel Pinero, Casey Fossum, Mark Hendrickson, Jeff Harris, etc) pitching gems against us. This year we have beaten pitchers like Barry Zito, Oliver Perez, Felix Hernandez, Jon Garland, Brad Radke, Carlos Zambrano, and Curt Schilling. But we get shut down by the garbage. I guess thats what makes baseball great sometimes. Its unpredictable.

I'm not really worried about the A's. They have a long road trip coming up where they play the Guardians for 3 and then the Red Sox for 4. If they are still close after that strech then I will begin to worry about them. Right now I worry more about the division and the Guardians.

I am so glad I don't have to waste three hours of my life tonight being upset by this team, again. Thanks Tampa for ending this one early...

Sheff hurt. :(

Another thing that pisses me off it that Torre keeps putting Ruben Sierra in the line up. You have Matt Lawton for a reason...use him. Ruben is a bench player. All they do is throw him breaking balls away and he pulls off and grounds weakly to 2B or he K's.

Sierra sucks, especially when he's hurt. Sheffield needs about 2 years off anyway, he hasn't had a hit since July.

f*** TAMPA

The 2003 Red Sox had, "Cowboy Up." The 2005 New York Yankees have, "f*** Tampa."

hahaah, I like it!

Matsui goes deep, Berine doubles. Let's get something cooking here.

George Steinbrenner needs to implement a new rule....everytime a Yankee makes a one pitch out their salary is cut in half. Jorge Posada would be a poor, poor man.
