I didn't catch the game today, but when i read the boxscore it appeared that keith pitched well 1.2 innings 0 hits 1 k. I was just curious how he looked on the mound today?

I thought he looked real good. It's not like the 1 2/3 innings consisted of easy guys to get out, either. He started off by striking out Everett on a changeup that made Carl look foolish, and got out of the first and second jam by getting Posednik to ground out. He started off the next inning by hitting Rowand, but got the next three outs after that pretty easily (one was a sac-bunt and the other two were pop outs on the infield). I thought he pitched well out there and watching him pitch reminded me more of what he did in 2004 than what he did before he went on the DL this year. I definitely believe him when he said he's stronger now than he was even in '04. I really think he will be big in closing games this year.

better than he has looked all season..IMO...good location...needs a few mph on the fastball but its getting there.

He looked like he was gaining confidence with every pitch,

I have been a harsh critic and even I was impressed.

I was encouraged but I'd like to see a few more appearances like this

remember Schilling's last bullpen outing, 2 perfect innings but look how he's performed since

LOL... can't I have my own opinion ?

Anyways, Foulke did ok, lets all remember that the chisox are not known for their offense ...

Yeah you can but not when you back track from something you say. You said he was "only" hitting 88 ... like he was throwing 95 last year. Then when I tell you he was only hitting 88 last year you say "oh well it must have been a lifeless 88" do you even know what that means? I think if anything you not knowing how hard Foulke threw last year further cements your status as the Mr. Bandwagon of Talksox.

Anyway, to stay on topic, I'm really excited to see Foulke back out there hurlin. Our pitching situation with no ace and no closer was really starting to get me worried, but now Schilling seems to be coming around, and now Foulke. I'm really starting to like our chances more and more every day.
