Yes, and we're playing with what, the second best record at home in baseball? Don't get all high and mighty. Your next 4 games are against two of the best teams in the American League, and we've got the last place Devil Rays. I can't see how Boston has the easier road here.

 

It's amazing you know, despite the fact they beat us this year it gives them ZERO advantage going into the game Tuesday. They won those games then. Good for them, but it won't help them now. The Yankees are a determined and capable team and there is no reason to expect them to have a hard time with Tampa.

dont you get all high and mighty either. As I recall the D-Rays are 9-4 against you guys which includes 3 out of 4 at Yankee Stadium, and 2 of 3 in August. Yes true we will be playing 2 of the best teams in the AL, but Sox just about always have Fenway in their favor and in the past couple of weeks the starting pitching has turned around and going deeper into games, and yes that is a fact. Today is Schil, but hey he turned it around and pitched 4 shutout innings after getting rocked, it could mean beginning of someting good,

this team played the Devil Rays like a GCL team. If they realy want to get in the playoffs, they will treat every game like a must win game and if they do that, they should beat the DRays.....I mean, come on, they do have Randy and Wright going for them, they cant do worse than 2 of 3.

Randy has fixed his mechanics. Didn't you hear, what he did before the KC game? He had changed them in spring training (because of Mel) so that he wouldnt hurt his back.

 

Ya, the Randy from the past two weeks and the one who was shelled by the DRays are two different Johnsons.
