You don't know when he started taking steroids, so while I think there should always be a * by his name, you can't just wipe away everything he has done.

It's complicated. I want to say, "yes," but then what do you do about MaGuire, Sosa, Bonds and Giambi? We all know damn well that they did it too. Do you wipe out their records based on suspicion? If you don't, it doesn't seem fair to Palmiero. Sure, he's the one who got caught but I don't think that's the point. We know the others are just as guilty.

Mark MacGuire, Sammy Sosa, Barry Bonds have never tested positive, there is no proof against them, Giambi admitted he took it. Anytime hard evidance comes up they should be wiped clean.

I highly doubt he started taking steroids after his 300th hit, wipe them clean.

Your right about that, he was tested positive in May, it just wasn't realeased until long after. It's hard for me to say wipe them clean, but I understand where your coming from because I hate Bonds, and all the 'roided up guys of whom I won't mention any names. But I think they should be recognized as cheaters, whether it's wiping out their records or putting an asterisk.

I just don't care. I really don't. Doing that with or without steriods is still a good acheivement. I watch baseball for the fun, i could care less if it was robots out there or kids with down syndrome. A home run is a home run and i'll like it.

Well if you want to stick to hard evidence, all we know is that Palmeiro recently took steroids. There is no proof he used them in the past. Common sense says he did but common sense says Macguire, Sosa and Bonds did too. See the problem?

Give them their own record book. Whoever tests positive for steroids gets into the steroids record book, and whoever doesn't stays in the regular MLB book.

Got any title ideas? But I'd still think it'd be a waste of trees.
