I'm stuck with the Royals broadcast and it's amazing I'm still awake. They are sooo boring. They did have one interesting stat: The Sox are batting .397 against pitchers the 4th time they face them in a game.

 

Now, granted, that situation doesn't usually occure unless the Sox make a late rally or get to a pitcher early (in which the pitcher would probably be out by then), but it was still interesting. I'm still awake anyway.

best offense: edgar continuing to hit, 3 for 5 tonight, could be a 300 avg by season's end--Double, 2 singles, RBI, 2 Runs

oddly dishonorable mention would go to Tony G who was 0 for 4 and also had worst defense with 2 errors

 

best pitching: Jeremi Gonzalez, 3 scoreless innings in relief with 3 Ks and 1 walk. Gonzo has now gone 12 2/3 straight scoreless innings in relief

I was glued to the tv most of those nights. Same will be true this year. You're fun to make fun of, but so is Tim McCarver and Joe Morgan.
