Interesting poll regarding Palmeiro/Owens.

I was looking at an AOL article on Terrell Owens and there was these 2 polls about him and Palmeiro. Interesting what people thought.

It's a surprise to me that Raffy is less disliked then Owens after the steriod incident.

 

 

But i still like Palmeiro, and i absolutely hate Owens.

TO is an obnoxious jerk with a big mouth; Raffy is mostly a quiet guy who has been suddenly thrust in to this ridiculous bs about steroids. I simply don't know what all the fuss is about with the steroids issue.... players are always looking for an edge, and it was not against baseball rules to use them or other performance enhancing "drugs".... suddenly it's against the rules, and they catch Raffy after he made his impassioned performance in front of Congress.... sorry, something don't ring true here. Smacks of a set up of some sort to me..... Anyway, I live down here in NoVa and the Orioles are the team we see on tv (a little of the Nationals now, too) and I will continue to cheer for Raffy. Mostly can't stand football at all any more, except for the Patriots and Tom Brady and Tedy.... I used to be a big football fan in days of old, but too many players like TO have soured me on the "game"....

Terrell Owens is on a totally different level. You can't compare Glen to Owens. Also I was making the point that the guy said "bench him and use the money somewhere else". You can't do that. Bench him all you want you still have to pay him.

Yea, he looked really relaxed and comfortable. I thought it would have been great if he whipped out an oxygen bottle and said " I got to take a break for a minute, I'm getting a little tired of all this ".

Yup, they were the bridesmaid, underdog, and likeable ( with the exception of one big mouth minor receiver ( not owens ).

Rather than criticize Terrell Owens for how he's handled his situation, I'm going to commend McNabb for how he as handled this situation which he's been pulled into, like some others have done.

 

He never ceases to amaze me -- from the Rush Limbaugh situation to this one; he handles everything with class. He's quickly grown into one of my favorite players and I hope he wins a Super Bowl, so long as Terrell Owens is not on his team when it happens. Not only is he, as he's regarded, one of the NFL's funniest personalities -- he's one of the NFL's classiest as well.
