4 errors in first two games of the series--Petagine is still not showing me the defensive 1st baseman he was said to be, but still sox had their chances to take the lead--7th inning with bases loaded and manny grounded out into double play and then like the eighth inning showed Adam Stern is a rookie getting caught, coulve had a chance to score on bill mueller's hit

That was the most disusting loss of the year.

I was thinking there's no way, but yeah this was easily the most winnable.

Moving on, though.

We face Joe Mays tommorow, and then 3 at home against Texas. I smell a 4 game winning streak.

At the movies, as we were walking out, I said to a good friend. I bet we are losing. We get in the car, and its 3-3. Yep, after being up 3-0 too... disgusting pretty much sums it up.

Teams that have bad managers will lose winnable games.

Issue1:

Question1: Why did we hate Grady Little?

Answer: Because he did not take tiring Martinez out of the game, and we lost that game.

Question2: Why did Francona keep tiring Wells in the game in the 6th inning where he allowed 5 hits, 3 runs, and bases were loaded? Even the conservative “Jerry Remy” did not like it!

Question3: How many times did he do this same idiocy this year?

Issue2:

Why did Francona replace Millar with Stern in the 8th?

Stern is not a fast runner (he is no Dave Roberts!), and not a good hitter (bat Ave .154), and has not matured yet. When the score is tied, and we are late in the game, good managers do not replace their veteran regulars with kids like Stern, and put Stern in situations where he will fail, and make the team lose.

There are situations where it will be OK for the manager to take his veterans out of the game though. For example if the team is up by 5 runs.

Question4: Will Francona ever learn from his stupid mistakes?

Answer: No. I do not believe so! Idiots never learn from their mistakes, and this is why they eventually get fired.

How the hell do errors have anything to do with the manager? There's no way you can blame Tito. Yes he took too long getting Boomer out of the game but if he would have got the job done you wouldn't be saying what you are now.

Look Stern was the fastest guy on the bench and it was a tie game. It's what your supposed to do.

joe, where you posting on here in 2004? Where were you bashing Francona when we won that World Series? Shut the hell up.... it's not Tito's fault that Timlin made a pitiful throw towards first base scoring that run in the 9th.

You should be banned. You've done nothing since you've gotten here but rip the management when we were losing. I'd also like to see you answer riverside's question of where were you during our eight game winning streak?

I think Tito did make some mistakes last night. For example, when Wells suddenly started giving up hits, he should've had someone warming up in the pen. Instead he sat on his hands. And another, why wasn't Schilling out in the 9th? Makes no sense.

I am with everyone else on you...you are NOWHERE here when we are doing well, and you are easily the most NEGATIVE person on this board. If all you wanna do is go bash on the team THAT YOU SUPPOSEDLY ROOT FOR, well, the YES boards or nyyfans.com is where you belong, and you can go identify with Yankee fans there. (Oh yes, I went there.) You piss us all off so much with your ********. If Tito is such a bad manager, why did we win the WS in 2004? Oh yeah, you weren't posting here in 2004. Why are we still in 1st place if he sucks? Cause Torre and every other manager on the face of this planet sucks? GO SIT IN A CORNER while watching Bad News Bears. Now there's some bad management. Go criticize Billy Bob, you pathetic dolt.
