Nothing new from what Ive seen of Tony G :), told you guys once I heard it was confirmed, that this guy can hit and he can defend.--find it very respectable and showed he wants to be a red sox player since he himself took a pay cut to come on board here in boston, thats rare nowadays

So yeah, KevinFC was surprising today?

Id say so, since the all-star break he has reached safely in 7 straight games, compiling 9 total walks!! which means on base percentage compared to before all-star break has been risen considerably

they said he was taken out of the game for two reasons (1) had pulled hamstring during 4th inning somehow (2) he had to get something at his house to take with him since the bus to chicago would be leaving right after todays game had ended--altogether it was another Manny Moment, haha

how about kevin millar ;) our boy is coming around gettin on base 4 times, walking again for 7th game in a row (nine altogether), had a hit, RBI, and scored three of Boston's nine runs

I was just saying that to my friend last night. I really think KFK is starting to look comfortable at the plate, and just maybe we should stick with him. Last year he blew up in the 2nd half, and I think he may be getting ready to do it again this year. Although his power numbers still haven't really come around yet, his average is at .293 over the last 30 days. I really hope he can get things going with the power soon. I've never really been wild about Millar, even last year, but it would still be strange to watch the Sox and not see him out there.

he has tightened up his stance, remember at beginning of season his legs were wide apart with waving his bat like he was chopping wood. Though since the All-Star Break, he has put his feet together whith his bat slowly moving now, its working so far. now he just has to get a homerun since again hes the player to wait the longest to have a homerun, the last being back on June 4.
