If Wade was pitching against New York, we'd probably be down 5 or 6-0 before we even came up to bat. I like the idea of having Clement and Wake pitching in games three and four, respectively. With that pitching, as long as our bats show up, we'll be fine.

wade will be getting his next start in a somewhat easy game for him i guess, game 1 against tampa bay--i just dont see the sox extending his contract at the end of the season so far, he does get better after the 1st couple innings but really any team especially the sox cant have a pitcher who cant get past the sixth inning

True. But if we could get him next year for a contract similar to the one he has right now, I would take it.

Of course, but I would always take a solid starter with a small contract over a inconsistent one with a huge contract.

I think the Yankees are going with Mussina, Johnson, Wang and probably Pavano. It is possible Brown would start Game 4, but he's supposed to come back later on the road trip. It's going to come down to what the pitcher's bring to the table. If Mussina and Johnson both bring their good stuff to Fenway we should be playing with house money the last 2 games of the series. Wakefield and Pavano should be a hit-fest.

I think the playing field is pretty even. If the pitching could hold the offense ( both sides) should be a good series. I think it will be a split, neither the Yanks or the Sox are going to sweep each other.

i was at the 14 inning game that lasted close to 6 hours, haha, so yea believe me exciting and nail clinching
