Boy oh boy would we love to take this one. Let's keep that fire burning and stomp on those damn birds. We need this series.

Looks to me like the numbers are fairly identical. W-L means nothing but even still, they are pretty much the same. Identical ERA's too. The O's have been stumbling recently and with their mediocre pitching our offense should be able to get to them. Wells has had a fair amount of success in the recent past too, so it will be interesting to see how he does today against one of the better lineups of the AL.

My prediction: Sox win 8-4

this will be a high scoring affair... I can feel it, and I feel a win!

I think you should think again, according to SOSH via WEEI, this is the lineup.

SS Cora

3B Mueller

DH Ortiz

RF Nixon

LF Millar

1B Olerud

C Mirabelli

CF Stern

2B Bellhorn

Looks like Cabrera has problems with lefies. Righties are batting .154 against Cabrera with 0 Hrs and 14 RBI. Lefties .314 with 8 Hrs and 36 RBI.

And then we have Manny, JD, Tek and Rent waiting for BJ Ryan.

I like it.

This is great. The Orioles are demoralized now, and the Yankees are about to get steamrolled just as they are puffing their chests in confidence.
