halamma i think a did great job of that he he held them to no more runs when he came on--i was at the, gulp, memorial day game where bronson allowed 7 runs including the grand slam thru the 3rd inning. Halamma came on for the next 4 innings and allowed only 2 hits, no runs--For some reason Bronson doesnt do well in fenway this season, five of his six wins have been out on the road

Yeah that's odd. Bronson is kind of inconsistent, though. Halama does a good job coming in and stopping the bleeding though.

very true, schilling will be making his rehab start tomorrow , as he comes within the next 2 weeks, question is who will be sent to the minors. I say keep halamma in the pen and send embree to the minors for him to work on his mechanics or something

yes arroyo didnt have a great outing but why is nobody talking about the batting in that game. arroyo should have two of the earned runs called an error by nixon knocking the ball into the bullpen. Nixon knew he should have caught that ball that ended up a two run shot. if thats caught arroyo only gives up 3 earned runs. Our bats usually on a daily basis can make up for three earned runs

cliff lee will be tough tonite, he held sox to 2 runs until he left then their bullpen crumbled giving up 3 runs for sox to win 5-4

To be honest, I still think it's amazing that we swept Cleveland the first time around. We need to win tonight setting us up with a better matchup on Wednesday afternoon -- Scott Elarton (4-2, 4.76 ERA) v. Wake (6-6, 4.05 ERA). Hopefully our bats can come through for us.

We need to hit... every night, no questions asked. Look at how much theyre getting paid. The amount that our starting lineup is getting paid is an amount that if you saw on paper, you would think that they would be able to score 10 runs a game, which isnt the case. Just gotta pick up where they left off in Philly tonight. Lee is pitching, since he is a lefty, hopefully Manny and Tek will be able to pick up slack for leftys in our lineup.
