I attended the Braves vs. Marlins game in Atlanta on 6/22. A kid from my Boys & Girls Club was in a journalism training down in Atlanta. As a surprise the Boys & Girls Clubs of America sent the kid to a Braves game with a Press Pass. He interviewed Adam LaRouche. The game was fun and of couse meeting the playes as well as field/club house access was great too.

The only problem was the let down I got when I entered Turner Field. The park has no feeling other than cement and corporations plastered all over. Yes the sound was better and the large (biggest in baseball) was really cool, but Ted's park coudn't even come close the amazing feeling one gets from attending a game at Fenway Park, home of the WORLD CHAMPION BOSTON RED SOX. The one thing the sox could do to improve Fenway is put more historical items and Red Sox art on the wall of the halls ans such.

Yeah - I've been to Camden Yards, San Fran, and a bunch of the newer parks. But nothing beats this:

As an aside - if you guys haven't sat there (right field roof seats w/table) you're missing out. I had a f***ing WAITRESS bring me beer and nachos. Good s***.

Nothing betterthan a waitress that brings you beer and nachos while watching the Sox at Fenway........was she hot?

Acutally - tell you the truth, she was f***ing smoking... I was in heaven all day.

Not only that, I got there an hour early, and the game was 4 hours... so I was up there for 5 hours.

Add to that the bar up on the roof you can go to (which is wicked badass btw) and all the nice tail walking around up there... all around a great time.

The right field roof seats are extremely nice (haven't seen what they're like during a game, though). The thing to me it seems that after going to Fenway every other ballpark I go to can't compare. Unless you catch a game at Wrigley or possibly Yankee Stadium (haven't been to either), I'd say it'll be a letdown. I went to a Nationals/Rangers game here in Texas last week and am going to see the Sox when they come down this weekend and though I will have a good time, nothing compares to the Fens.
