Does anyone else think that Olerud is EXACTLY what this team needs? He has been GREAT this year, a solid 1st Baseman, and a better hitter than Doug Mientczeiwtz. I'm very impressed with Olerud's ability to just go out and play whenever they need him. Good job!!

Yes, I do. I think we need to trade Bellhorn, put Mueller on second, put Youuuuk on third, Olerud at first, and find something else to do with Millar. Make him the next Gabe Kapler, maybe. Or just put him in like theyre doing to JO now.

I don't know why he retired. It almost seemed like he decided once he won a World Series he was done. I thought he did as good of a job as Williamson.
