I would like to introduce myself as a new member to this site and I hope I can keep it short.

 

I'm a 27 year old student from Austria (sorry if my english lacks the right grammar sometimes but I really haven't used it that much since I left school) residing in Vienna for some couple of years now and I love sports. As a "typical" european sports fan I've always liked soccer and always will, but I'v been a great icehockey, basketball and football fan too. And three years ago I watched my first ballgame and it happened to be a Red Sox game which they won in dramatic fashion in the ninth and from that day on I'm a fan. But my love of the Red Sox has grown throughout the years and I will always cheer for the greatest team in sports, in good times and in bad times. I've also read a lot and watched games from the past, archive footage and so on, so I know about the past, the greats and I really soaked up the history and the spirit of the Red Sox. And thanks to MLB.com I can watch every game even though it's 2 a.m. over here.

 

I'm really glad that I've found this site and this forum and I'm looking forward to post and read everything what you've got to say.

 

I know I'll have a great time here with you guys...

Admittedly, it took me quite a while to come back to this forum, but from now on I'll post on a regular and more frequent basis:D

 

Should be a great season with all the Dice-K mania, and I'm really looking forward to watching him throw his first pitch in the majors.

No, I was refering to the post about you being an Aussie, when you stated you were from Austria.
