I'm so pumped for this game. Let's keep the success rolling right along and take advantage of the just-swept Orioles.

We all remember Rodrigo Lopez, the "certified" Red Sox killer. That memorable 1-0 win over the Orioles where Clement pitched a gem could have easily gone either way, as we won off of an unearned run. Hopefully the tables will turn, and our newfound offense will kick in and get to Baltimore. Important series--4 games vs. Baltimore for first place!! We are 3 out currently, with the Yanks heading out to KC for a 3 game set. (They are off tonight)

So, let's pick up a game on the Orioles and in doing so, pick up another half game over the Yanks! Hopefully, Arroyo will bounce back from his last dreadful outing against Toronto. GO SOX! GO ARROYO!

And on another note: It's great to be home!

Temperature supposed to be about 70 degrees tonight. There are forecasted thunderstorms for tonight, about a 40% chance of rain. So hopefully they'll be able to get it in.

Lopez has been a Red Sox killer in his career and has faced them twice already this season. He allowed eight earned runs in 3 1/3 innings on April 26, but the Orioles rallied and he received a no-decision. Five days earlier, Lopez allowed one run over eight innings but was bested by Matt Clement, who tossed eight scoreless innings. Arroyo has been the glue in an inconsistent rotation this season. He was dealt his first loss in 18 starts last week against Toronto.

The right-handed Arroyo looked rusty in his first start back from his six-game suspension, giving up six hits and five runs (two earned) over six innings in a loss to the Blue Jays. However, Arroyo, overall, has been a rock. This is his first start this season against the Orioles. In five career outings against Baltimore, Arroyo is 0-1 with a 5.27 ERA.

No, I'm not that much of a loser. :) If I had a tshirt I would wear one though. That's where I draw the line.

Ehhhh... Lopez always seems to pitch very well against the Red Sox. But Arroyo has been stud-like and our hitting has been pretty amazing the past few games. Don't really know what will happen.

I was driving back up to my house from Boston this afternoon, the rain is pretty damn erratic. So if there is rain, it wont be a downpour for a long time. If there is a downpour, itll blow right over probably.
