Uhhh...have I seen interleague? Uhhhhhh geez..

OH YEAH! Last year against the Phillies, I forget who pitched for both teams, but I remember I was sitting right next to Pesky's Pole and I was talking a lot of s*** to Abreu. I remember he dropped a few fly balls and I kept yelling "THAT'S WHAT YOU GET FOR ALL THOSE CHEESESTEAKS." It was good fun. And there were a SHITLOAD of Phillies fans in the bleachers, it was so bad, they were chanting "Red Sox suck!" and I remember a few Red Sox fans got arrested for beating their asses up but it was all good as they were silenced because Thome didn't do s*** in that game, and we rolled them. It was insane.

I think I've only been to 3 interleague games. So I'd say the best one was in 2003 against the Marlins, 2 days after the historic blowout. It was Gabe Kapler's Red Sox debut and he hit 2 homers and drove in 4.

My grandpa was a Mets season ticket holder, second row down the 1st baseline amazing seats so I go to a few Met games a year. I have a few this year where Pedro pitches but whenever the Sox play at Shea we get the tickets, I also saw Bonds* 650th at Shea.

I saw Kapler outside the AMC Theatre in Chestnut Hill...me and Manny24 went to see Dodgeball and he was sitting right in front of us. Got his autograph it was sweet. He is actually a REALLY big guy.

Remember when Sturtze tried to take down Kapler in the FU-Rod brawl... of all the people in the pile why would you go after Kapler.

Actually, I have been to an interleague game. I saw the Guardians and Reds play in Cincinnati on the 4th of July last year. I am a big fan of interleague play because I love seeing interstate rivalries such as the Astros and Rangers duke it out to claim who's the best in the state. It's nice to have something different during the 162 games.

Haha yeah I do, then he got absolutely raped by Papi, Nixon and Kapler got a few punches on that face.

Not only did Sturtze try to take him down, he was strangling him basically...

Somebody should find out how Kapler's doing in Japan and post his stats.

Anyway, I've been to 2 or 3 Boston @ Atlanta games. I think the Braves have won each of those games <_ . it usually something weird too with the losses manny not in lineup pedro sucking for first time months just odd stuff.>

I'm really looking forward to this weekend. I know the Braves pretty well and it really should be a great series with a lot of pitching.

Either team can take 2 outa 3, but I doubt the Braves can sweep Boston at home, whoever is pitching (BRING IN KOLBE  ). So I got some money on it.

I convinced a friend of mine who's a Brave fan to A) Visit Fenway with his wife this Sunday, and B ) bet me $20/game with an additional $100 tossed in for a sweep. LETS GO BATS! NO RAIN!

Bring it on.

Oh, I also can't wait to play the Cubs. That will be sweet.

EDIT: Gabe Kapler stats:

Gabe is 7-for-54, BA of .129

2 HR, 5 RBI, 1 SB, 3 GIDP, 5 runs."

back to the topic at hand of interleague play - i went to a game between Arizona and Boston a couple years ago when Pedro and Schilling pitched. We lost 2-1 I believe but it was a great pitchers duel. That was easily the best interleague game Ive ever seen. I had great tickets too - like 25 rows behind homeplate.

I've seen two interleague games at Fenway.

A few years ago I witnessed the Braves come back on the Sox in the ninth inning, and I was at Fenway last year when the Dodgers hammered the Sox (Wakefield started).

Based on my 2 game experience, I say interleague games suck. the Sox are 0-2!!!

Seriously, though, interleague play is great for fans to see players they don't normally see, but it causes some unbalanced schedules, which is unfair to playoff contending teams...

RSR...where are their seats? Maybe I'll see them I'm goin Sunday. I'm so excited to see Smoltz!!!!!

They'll be in section 18 all decked out in red Braves jersies/caps. You'll probably see his wife - she's pretty hot.

Exactly. In regular play, everyone plays the same people and the seasons are basically balanced. In Interleague, anything goes. The yankees could be playing a sub .500 team while we play a tough one and vice versa.
