Watching the other team's broadcast again, they mentioned that the Sox "gave Renteria more than they will offer Damon after the season". Sad but true...

We gave 40 million for Rent and there is no way they will offer a 4/40 to Damon. I doubt it anyway.

Its top 7, 3-3. Bonderman is still in. I cant really say I know what happened because I was flipping around a bit. But ill explain you the Manny play.

I think there was 1 or 2 outs. Fly ball to the warning track. Runners on first and 2nd. Manny drops it. One guy comes around to score, the guy on first tries to score but hes thrown out by a decent amount. Bonderman is pitching well - hes gotten out of a lot of big jams.

Note: As I'm typing Bonderman is pulled.

Man the D-Rays did us a favor by hitting him in the head. I'm glad Giambi got plunked, maybe he'll wake up.

BWAHAHAHA!! Yankees fans happy Giambi gets hit in the head? What nutless t-shirt fans.

Its time we get a GM in there to correct the UNBELIEVABLE amount of dammage he has inflicted to this team. Forget Bambi (i mean giambi) and other big names which George signed. Im talking about quantrils and gordons, vasquez's weavers browns and the list just keeps growing. We need a good gm in there to get this dammage undone and not make anymore stupid aquisions of 37+ yearold hasbeens.

-From a thread called, "When do we fire Cashman?" What a bunch of morons. This is hilarious.

Not being able to sign Beltran showed that we finally ran out of $$, and having clowns like BEan and Henn on the major league staff show that the minor league well is dry also. It had to all come crashing down someday....

The Yankees ran out of money?! No, your team just makes horrible decisions and picks up sh^tty players.

Winning is nice. We're now in 2nd place in the East (percentage points ahead of Toronto). 2nd place is not where we want to be of course, but it's not terrible for now. With Schilling, Miller, and Wells back, we'll look pretty good. (Just don't take Arroyo out of the rotation, OK, Tito?) We'll look even better when our 3-4-5 batters aren't all hovering around .250.

Yanks are 7.5 games out of first. Yes, it's early, and yes, they will probably shape up (or buy some talent). All that means is that we should gloat even more now, while we can.

Who could say it better than a yankee fan? Taken from a prestigious ( yea right) yankees message board:

this guys just cant win ballgames, their pitching stinks, the offense has been quiet (3 or 4 runs per game) and the managers just doesn?t know what their doing.

see you in 2006 mad.gif

I think we've broken their backs...or at least they've broken their own.
