And why?????

I say Schilling, but I hope Damon does. The first thought I have when thinking back to the 2004 playoffs is Damon's slam against the Yanks. And that slam put it away early, which is exactly what the Sox did in the World Series right after that hit.

It's Damon for me.

Damon, that Grand Slam will live forever in my heart.

It's like choosing between your kid's though... Ortiz is like god now, and then there's Schilling who's like immortal, man... so many choices...

Lol. I got all flustered when I made the poll. I had my 10 choices, and Schill was one of them, but when I clicked "make poll" it asked me for all my choices again. I knew I forgot someone when I only came up with 9, so..... :D I put in Bellhorn's name. Sorry. Hey Yeszir, can you switch out Bellhorn's name for Schilling's?

i gotta go with schill and ortiz, I think schill has become the de facto face of the sox and with pedro leaving the ace and with his yapper the most vocal member of the team.,

tek should not get a ovation for resinging. he got 10 mill per for 4 years. he almost raped the sox! imo at least.

Depends on who's pitching.

If it happens to be Arroyo, he'll get a 10-minute S.O. and perhaps a full-scale riot after he smears Alex Rodriguez' mascara with his first pitch to him.

He won't do that. If he does, he'll be suspended.

That's what "Other" was for. The poll only allows like 10 options. The addition of Wake to my list was probably based on what went down with A-Boone in 2003. Plus he's been around the longest I think.

But yeah, those three Nixon doubles were huge.

If he was still with the Sox I'd say Dave Roberts. But now that he is gone, the biggest ovation has to be for Schilling. He came here for one goal and he delivered. The man is sincere, tough and talented.
