He said he is "convinced" the ankle will be OK but he's not sure about his arm. I would be thrilled if he is back that soon to face RJ. That should be fun to watch.

I don't understand how this could possibly draw any criticism from yankee fans. It will be one hell of a game. Schilling will have a shot at shutting 55,000 people in New York up, and RJ has a chance to beat down on more than just photographers.

 

It will be a great game, especially considering the past between these two guys and what they have accomplished in their respective careers. It still would have been cooler, at least in my mind, to have Pedro face RJ in the ultimate showdown of the two most dominant pitchers of recent times, but Schilling will do.
