It just feels so odd. I can't explain it.

I know what you mean.

It's like there is a giant elephant in the room and no one notices. I feel good but I am not overly confident at all. Today will seem like the clock is moving in slow motion.

:o I do believe....this could wrap it up...no one agrees with me here at work. they say...no the WS will go at least 6....how is that possible? The Sox out-performed the Cardnals...completely...even with errors...I don't believe baseball won't let this streak continue...it is in the bag!

i really can't see the the cardinals not winning a single game.. i just can't see it. but i can also see the sox taking them tonight. so i don't know.. emotions are mixed. i'll just have to watch.

I think for a lot of Sox fans, we aren't willing to accept victory until it happens. Yes, we realize that we're just 27 outs away (please don't tell me you'll change that text at the top of the page as a countdown), but until we're 0 outs away, I'm not celebrating.

Right now, I'm just dying in anticipation of tonight's game.

I think you are exactly right, we always hope this team will win, but we (i at least) always kind of expect them to lose. You are right, we haven't won yet, and we can't act like we have won untill we do it.

I got up late, went to work late, didn't read a single thing about the Sox on the internet, got a ton of s*** done, forgot to eat. Weird day. I wish I could get this much done everyday. I'd lose weight too!

In spite of his last few outings, I have no confidence whatsoever in Derek Lowe. It would not surprise me a bit if the Cardinals got spotted 6 or 7 runs before the second out of the second inning.

Really? I have tons of confidence in him after what he did to the Yankees. I just hope I'm not wrong. That would suck.
