Stop the presses! Moss only went 1-4 with a BB today.

Since the rainouts: .500/.569/.955/1.524; 5 2B's, 5 HR; 7/6 BB/K. He hasn't K'd in 4 games and has drawn a walk in all four.

Moss went 1-3 with another double and another walk. It's not even worth it to do any more updates from after the rainouts. Just know that he's been mashing the ball and his plate discipline has been excellent.

PS- I'm not doing the math because I'm lazy and tired.

Moss is hitting .294/.372/.500 on the season with 14 2B's, 7 HR and a 21/46 BB/K but he's walked in 5 consecutive games and hasn't K'd in any of them. With that excellent plate discipline and all the extra-base power he's putting up, I'd say he's well adjusted to the league.

Moss went 3-5 with a 2B, HR and K. The man cannot be stopped. His average is up to .299 even after that horrendous start.

By the way, Moss' season line: .299/.365/.533/.898; 18 2B, 1 3B, 10 HR; 22/49 BB/K. With all due respect to D-Peddy and Hanley, this guy is the best hitter on the team.

I feel like I've read this before. ;)

So I double post here and Netsports, I'm not going to waste my creative genius on these people.

By the way, 2-6 for Moss tonight making his overall season average a cool, crisp .300.

This thread has a pulse now. Brandon is hitting .316/.395/.566 in 76 AB, but more importantly it looks like the power stroke is arriving. He just hit his 5th dinger tonight. Still only 23. Could he be a late bloomer?

He should have six, but the game was suspended in the 1st inning, about a week ago.

Moss on the season:

.317/.430/.604/1.034, 7 HR, 21 RBI, 19 BB, 25 K, 16 runs in 101 ABs. Everyones caught up in Ellsbury right now (and for good reason) but Moss is tearing up AAA also and is actually younger than Ellsbury. Two very talented OF prospects in AAA right now (3 if you want to include Murphy)

He is a very poor fielding OF.

Murphy or Moss will be eventually dealt for relief help. Padres course have Linebrink on the trading block and are looking for outfield help. hmm, package him and another player and just maybe these 2 teams can pull something together

Linebrink

Okajima

Papelbon

Definately like tthat idea, as I'd rather keep Ellsbury over Moss at this point. A bullpen with 5 dependable arms would be very valuable (that's if you count Donnelly).

since he really doesnt have a spot on the team, unless someone goes down, id look into dealing him before the deadline while his stock is high.
