Haha, Juan probably blew the game last night with his non-hustle when throwing in tek's hit, and he just lets that one go by him. Pokey Reese is the least likely candidate for a 2 hr game. You think he can hit three?

KC comes to Boston at just the right time. Their mediocre pitching has woken up the Sox bats. I’m glad Schilling is finally getting some run support.

Yes. I'm so glad we faced Cleveland and KC rather than Oakland and Baltimore, or some much tougher combination like that. Both of these teams can't pitch, and the sox can now find their rhythm against them. This should carry over into future series I hope.

 

Amazing how opinions on Pokey change so quickly, isnt it? All he has to do is hit two home runs in one game to get people on his side. I remember not so long ago he was "horrible", an "automatic out" (he still is). Now he has shown what he can sometimes do. That combined with his defense makes him extremely valuable.

Lost in all the Poker Hysteria and outpouring of runs is Schilling's top notch performance so far.

 

7.2 IP, 1 ER, 4 hits, 7 K's and he's just hit the 100 pitch mark. Pretty damn good if you ask me.

aside from the yankee games, this was our best game of the season, dominant in every aspect of the game, curt gives the sox thier first CG of the season, the hitting was dominant (pokey, tek, jesus), and the fielding was flawless. great game boys

I was out all day and didn't see the game, but man does it seem I like picked the wrong one to miss. Really happy for Pokey because, well....his name is Pokey! Ya gotta love a man with that name. I'm really liking this winning trend hopefully all the moms of the RSN will be very happy with the mother's day gifts the Sox give them tomorrow. I love that dirty water.
