OK, by request I started another game thread. Let's keep the flow going and split with the Tribe. I can't see the young Indian hitters hitting Pedro too well. He needs to pitch great to make for his last start. And maybe if we win, maybe Choakland will help us out eh? But anyways, just win.

Good one, Choakland. they truly are choakers. they gave up the lead in both games so far in that series

As for petey, he WILL bounce back. last year after having a bad game if i remember correctly he always came back with a gem

Tonight I'm lookin for manny and ortiz to come up big for the sox and pedro as well. The best way for him to prove wat he is worth is to go out there start after start and bring wat he's got. I'm callin for a 5-2 win tonight for the sox. Win goes to pedro and I don't know about a save because i don't know how Foulke's back is.

Where is Johnny tonight... being rested? benched? hurt?

He's probably being rested. He's played a lot recently, I think.

I hate it when the sox have to fight from behind. It seems like they always dig themselves into a hole and must scratch and claw to get back.

ground out ground out ground out ground out ground out ground out.

Damn. Its all groundouts. Ortiz and Manny both. 2 runs is nothing when you have Pedro on the hill, but still. We should, in theory, have beaten up on this team all 4 games, but with the exception of last night, we were/are the ones being tossed around. This needs to stop now.

Weird start. I was ready to cash it in and start bitching about Pedro. Now he has a possiblity to pitch a complete game. 70 pitches in 6 innings with 7K. Call me Orbital...

Well I'm just getting home, 2-2 tie, well it's better than it has been lately. Hopefully petey/bullpen can hold out longer than Clevelands.

Maybe Oakland will win tonight, maybe they won't, to tell you the truth I doubt they will. Oakland is not that good though, their pitching staff is bleeding for some reason this year, so I expect that when NY starts playing some real teams with offenses reality will hit them like a ton of books.

I'm befuddled, this is the one game I didn't think the sox would win going into this series, and their up 4-2 (bottom 7).

Now we need Pedro and the Bullpen to stick it out for a few more innings... and this game is kinda short too.

pedros going the distance...

I doubt he'll do it. Why make him go all the way if he doesnt have to? Unneeded strain on his arm.

I think we'll see Williamson in the 8th, and Foulke in the 9th.

Also, Millar really came through with a clutch catch in foul territory, god knows how that AB would have wen't had pedro had to keep pitching.

I'd like to see Pedro at least START the 8th. See what happens... could be another 6 pitch inning.

Pedro has bad luck in the 8th. Remember? :(
