Has anyone else been REALLY impressed by our backup second basement. He's very patient, makes solid contact, and plays good defense. I'm thinking he might beat out reese for 2b when Nomar returns, and Reese can be used as Super Damien Jackson. Anyone else have an opinion?

I dont know. I might be liking Reese too much.

Upside to Reese: Even if the ball goes into the sun, he'll still run and catch it.

 

Downside: He won't hit his weight. In fact, he has a very valid chance of hitting .000.

I like them both, but then I'm a pretty positive guy. I've been looking forward to Reese, but Bellhorn's been great. Let's all keep in mind, however, that it has been two games.

Like the previous post says...its only been two games.

 

Nomar not returning till may gives them both a chance to duke it out and prove which one will get the starting job at second.
