  1. If they were smart they would unload chapman, bregman, duran and wilson. I think these guys would net the best return.
  2. The craziest part about that IMO is that henry then turned around and ponied up and paid the far inferior player in devers, only to trade him for fodder as well.
  3. Hardly, skippy, I usually scroll right past your posts.....
  4. If I wanted to go to sleep then I would just read more of your posts. Works better than benzodiazepine
  5. That's exactly what this site needed, another devers thread..........
  6. Other than getting paid. I'm not sure why he would want to stick around. He can't spend too much money, he has a manager that he didn't pick who lets the players dictate what they will and will not do, a roster full of unproven rookies and replacement level players. Outside of crochet and narvy, not a lot of bright spots.
  7. There's no denying that the whole situation was poorly handled by all parties the whole time.
  8. Revealing details of Rafael Devers trade indicate Red Sox were being snakes all along
  9. I think the tigers might give a nice return for bregman though. And the sox are probably a few years away from being serious contenders anyway barring a serious spending splurge/major trades in the offseason.
  10. For sure, the chaos that has been the sox front office has certainly contributed.
  11. Red Sox Fire Sale? MLB-Best Tigers May Go ‘All In’ With $36 Million Boston Duo
  12. Red Sox news: Prospect landed in Rafael Devers trade roughed up in debut
  13. So you are saying that he hasn't been a .500 manager save for 2 seasons? And what the heck does what happened to farrell have to do with cora's record??!!
  14. What if your aunt had balls? We can "what if" all day. The bottom line is that he's been a .500 manager outside of two seasons.
  15. Lol, that's rich considering that you offer your opinions as proof. The fact is that your man crush has sucked at the major league level. Look that up on baseball-reference, The fact is that you think seattle would trade the face of the franchise stud catcher for package including a broken down DH and a platoon player who is ready to retire. We all read it and laughed at you.
  16. And so? What does any of that have to do with the fact that outside of the 2 seasons I mentioned that cora has been basically a .500 manager?
  17. I disagree. It appears that he was afraid to approach devers regarding a move to 1B or to even go back to 3B after bregman went down.
  18. Walker Buehler seems to call out Red Sox, refute Alex Cora after latest blowup
  19. The question is, does he get the most out of the talent he does have? Also, his handling of the devers fiasco made it look like he doesn't have control of the clubhouse IMO.
  20. You'd rather they do it half way? The sox have a few pieces that would generate a nice return. It would be smart of them to take advantage of it. As a Yankee fan, I hope they do a half-assed approach and don't capitalize on the position that they are in.
  21. Outside of 2018 & 2021, he's basically been a .500 manager.
  22. Misquotes? Out of context? It's all in black and white. And you're the last person who should complain about anyone being condescending. Hypocrite much?
