    [Qwell he is consistliney dialling it up at 97-99. i think he is for real. Good pickup by Bloom UOTE=moonslav59;1552528]He's done well for us, so far. 36.1 IP 31 Hits 10 BB 42 K 2.97 ERA 1.13 WHIP 12K/9 IP He may be a fluke, but what is not to like, so far?

    this was my first look at Bernandino and I certainly don't see what all the hype was on him. A 90-91 LH with a decent breaking ball is not really tailor made for Fenway.

    Well Turner is going to walk for nothing after the season just like Eovaldi, Bogaerts, JDM, etc did last year. Bloom has gambled on the Sox making the postseason. Should cost him his job if they don't make it. Nonetheless I know that he will be back next year anyway.

    i fully expect Bloom to sign 1-2 more veteran SP on 1 yr deals with a VERY SLIGHT chance the Sox take a run at the Japanese SP IN FA. If it is not obvious to all by now Bloom is counting on building through the farm and low-mid cost 1-2 yr deals.

    On the Blue Jays broadcast today they said the Orioles had 3 1st rd picks in 2019 and that all 3 have played for the team. That is all that matters to me. If Bloom wants to draft all HS players that is up to him but it seems there is far more risk in doing so. I stand my statement that the Orioles have FIVE 1st rd picks since 2019 ply MLB games with the team and ask again how many 1st rd picks have the Sox had in the same time frame play MLB games for them??
