me either. they remind me of soccer uniforms. and i can't stand soccer. -
yeah, it was a waste, a huge waste, but in Bloom's defense (i can't believe i'm doing this), he was signed to play OF. and nobody saw Duran having the year he's having or all the injuries at SS that basically forced Kiké into that position for an extended period of time. had he spent all season in the OF, who knows, maybe he has a better year.

a sweep by the Braves and/or a disastrous west coast trip and they'll be back. and if he doesn't add some true quality starting pitching before next season, i'll be right there with them. IMHO, "the architect of the Rays Way" has been nothing more than average. a trade for a nice SP and a playoff run might change my mind. a s***** end to the season and another last place finish and well...

i only remember one DD trade that really pissed me off. at the time. and that was the Nate-Beeks trade. Beeks was an Arkansas guy and i thought he had a great upside. turns out DD knew more than i did. i also remember thinking the Sale extension was a really really bad deal for the Sox.

there has been a lot of speculation that Kiké is somehow "Cora's boy". same with JBJ. i truly wonder how much input Cora might have had in Bloom extending/trading for either of them. i'm guessing very little, if any. but, if so, i'm hoping Bloom ignores him from now on.

i didn't like the Betts or Beni trades even a little bit but i understand why they were done. the JBJ trade was just f***ing stupid.

easy call for me. Joely is one of those guys that just makes me cringe every time he enters the game. all i can think about is how many runs is he going to give up.

i won't write them off until they are officially eliminated. it's just frustrating that we missed such an excellent opportunity to gain ground. maybe we'll sweep the Braves. LOL.
