after 7 seasons, he's still the worst defensive 3B in the league. unfortunately, i think the whole "work on his defense" ship has sailed for Raffy. -
he's a good contact hitter. i had no idea his D was so bad.

not me. that puts him about #158 in the league. he's either underperforming or vastly overpaid. maybe other GMs were correct when they said Bloom overpaid.

to me....Kluber has been, by far, the biggest disappointment this year. i knew he wasn't going to be 2017 Kluber but gawd dawg. never thought he'd be a steaming pile of s***.

maybe he's overcompensating on the obvious home runs, due to all the flack he (rightfully) caught last year for what appeared to be a lack of effort in the OF.

that's what he should do. he really really needs two top pitchers. if he does that, i don't see how we don't make the playoffs next year.

my greatest fear this offseason is Bloom sitting on his hands, waiting til the last minute as the SP free agent corpse gets picked over until there is nothing left but scraps, to sign some oft-injured, aging veteran.

i get a rest day in the middle or later in the season, but in the middle of a hot streak is stupid. and just as bad is a rest day during the first few weeks of the season.

sorry...i didn't mean to sound if i was pointing you out as one of "Bloom's defenders". i've always considered your analysis -on anything- as very fair-minded. a bit overly-optimistic at times but very fair.

holy cow. i think your kid is smarter than Bloom's nerds.

Bloom had best add some quality starting pitching or it's gonna get ugly next year. of course his defenders will say it's really a 10 or 15 year plan instead of 5.
