  1. He is a double A batting practice pitcher. All contact is over 100MPH
  2. Who is this guy throwing fat pitches? Every ball hit over 100 MPH
  3. Is Iglesias available? He cannot hit, but he is a vacuum cleaner in SS. Trade Yoshida Move Devers to DH. He will never be a good fielder. Who is playing 3rd in triple A? Oh wait! Is that Dalbec?
  4. Best case scenario a dislocation and that is 16 week for a non-athlete.
  5. Every time Rafaela prevents a run in the outfield is the same as hitting a homer on offense. Is the improvement in pitching due to a new pitching coach?
  6. Every time Rafaela makes a great catch that saves a run is the equivalent of hitting a home run on offense.
  7. Any thoughts on Abreu? He looks totally lost and nothing like last year. Taking good pitches and swing at bad ones. He appears to be unconfident.
  8. How come the Rays have big tall strong young pitchers that can throw hard whereas our pitchers are a bunch of skinny weakl guys with no arm speed? No one in our staff can throw 100 MPH.
  9. Houck did it in the 5th. Good for him!!!
  10. The Sox were 0/19 with runners in scoring position. The major league record record is 0/20
  11. It is incredibly frustrating to see high paid ball players like Story and Duval striking out over and over again and swinging at balls two feet off the plate. Meanwhile rookies like Rafaela, Abreu, and Casas have much better plate discipline and one feels they will at least make decent contact. When Casas or Turner strike out is because the pitcher is really good or because the umpire screwed them. Another one that disappoints with swing at bad pitches is Wong, but he is the catcher.
  12. We hit, but we cannot pitch.
  13. We should trade Verdugo and Yoshida for some pitching and spend money on free agents for more pitching. Rafaela, Abreu, and Valdez can likely produce as much offensively for less money.
  14. Honestly, the Sox have enough hitters. They simply have no defense and poor pitching. They need a new manager, two top SPs, plus the best relievers money can buy. I don't see a need to go out and get more bats if they cannot pitch or catch the ball. Could they be coached to play better defense?
  15. Should Story sit while Rafaela plays SS?
  16. On a different note. My wife wants to know. How come The fingernails of Casas are black?
  17. One of the all time greats!
  18. Cora gets fired tomorrow. Tek takes over. I see no other alternative.
  19. Once Barraclough is out of the game Cora will have to use a position player to pitch. Obviously by following Cora's logic he cannot use a pitcher unless the Sox are winning in the 9th.
  20. I never saw your post. I hope I do not get a copyright lawsuit.
  21. Brasier goes to LA and becomes Sandy Koufax. Pitching coach? Kike goes from .220 average to .290. Hitting coach?
  22. This is not the first time Wong makes a stupid base running error. As I watched Pivetta it was obvious he was out of gas. Bad on Cora.
  23. He is better than Kike for a whole lot less money. I bet he can play centerfield too.
  24. BTW, Pablo needs a contract!
