At the onset of the season the Red Sox lost many games due to poor defense.
Now they are losing due to a poor bullpen.
The starting pitching got worse, but we continue to lose when the starting pitchers have a good outing.
Hitting is not a problem.
This team simply needs a front office that spends money on a quality bullpen. That is less costly than
looking for starters.
The defense has gotten much better and will continue to improve as Story comes back. There will be a surplus of hitters coming up from triple A in the next couple of years.
Is it possible to know how many games were lost due to errors and how many lost in the last two innings due to a poor bullpen?
BTW, last night Cora should have taken Sims out after facing the minimum three batters.
