Hopefully we can at least get through 1 inning, before the doom, and gloom starts. Sale has to set the tone, and hopefully he will. We should know early on.

If we are going to extend him then we’d better do it after this season, because the longer you wait the more expensive it will get. I do not like 10 yr, or more contracts worth 300 million+, and i wouldn’t do it for anybody, so if you can get something shorter then do it, or otherwise trade him. The Yankees have 2 $300+ million contracts, and Judge coming up I believe after next year, and they haven’t won anything. Those big contracts to me just aren’t worth it.

I think Bogey called the shots last time, because he likes Boston unlike Betts, and wanted to stay unlike Betts. It’s just a question now if he still wants to stay. If he doesn’t then trade him after the season.

He had some pop this year, but was in the 240’s most of the year, so it would be nice to get on base more too.

That’s right Schwaber will be gone, and JD will finish out his last year.

It was the right choice to start E Rod. It didn’t work out, but it’s not like you had tons of choices. The penalty you pay for not winning the division, and having to use EO in the playin.

So you want a guy with less production? JD is not going anywhere next year, and they don’t need 2 DH’s.

Don’t get to caught up in Schwaber. His high BA in his career is 266, and he has only driven in more than 71 RBI once. Yes he may hit 35 dingers, but he is no JD, and not worth a big contract.
