  1. If Nate hadn’t of wasted bullets in game 4 he’d still be in there.
  2. I agree. Renfroe is in a deep slump, and his grounding into DP’s have been killers, but they wouldn’t have gotten into the postseason without him.
  3. Then don’t. I had already changed the question when you answered.
  4. If 34 was playing today he would get JD money. Pick on Schwaber? If pointing out that Schwaber has never hit more than 266, or has only had more than 71 RBI once is picking on him then I’m guilty, and if saying that Schwaber is not a rum producer like JD is picking on Schwaber then I’m guilty.
  5. Devers will be a tough situation to handle. Mookie got up to 27 million arbitration before he left, and Raffy probably will as well, so either way it will take millions to sign him. Agree on Bogey, and if he won’t restructure then moving him would be the best option then letting him walk for nothing. I still think unlike Mookie he wants to stay.
  6. I’m not disputing that there is no value, but just not the value of a run producer like JD.
  7. Good stats, and I’m not against resigning him if JD opts out, but not at JD money. Like I said he’s not the run producer that so many on here think he is. Like we’ve hashed over before that what JD does, and what the plans for Bogey, and Raffy are have to be worked out, before you can move forward with anything else for next year, and beyond.
  8. I didn’t say to bench him, but you did agree 3-21 is not hitting.
  9. You being big on stats don’t you think that someone who has only had more than 71 RBI once, and a high BA of 266 is a bit overrated like Schwaber seems to be on here. He’s not a run producer like JD, and paying him JD like money would be better spent elsewhere?
  10. I’m not disputing that about Bobby D, and Renfroe. I’m just saying that Schwaber going 3-21 is not hitting.
  11. Schwaber is 3-21 against Houston. Outside of his slam he has done nothing. 3-21 is not hitting.
  12. From Big Red Machine to little Red Caboose.
  13. Perez sucks, and just because he’s a lefty doesn’t mean he had a better chance. Bra is a better pitcher period, and that’s what should matter most. If it doesn’t then a righty should only face a righty, and a lefty should only face a lefty.
  14. No he can’t, nor could anyone prove they wouldn’t.
  15. You’ve been trying to polish a turd all afternoon and you haven’t convinced anyone.
  16. At the time when Perez went into the game is was only a 1 run game, and when he left it was pretty much out of reach although you can never tell in Fenway. A 1 run game that you keep preaching about to you was out of reach, so to you if Perez shut them down, or did what he did was irrelevant. Perez was never a key to winning the game, but was a key to taking away what chance they had. Perez should have never been brought into the game at that point. He sucks.
  17. So you mean Bra a righty couldn’t have gotten him out? Perez may be a lefty, but is he a good one? Makes a big difference. Just, because it’s lefty on lefty doesn’t mean it’s a good matchup.
  18. Not very good thinking that being down by just 1 run means the game was over. Sounds like a quitter to me.
  19. Like a lot of people keep saying that the more pitchers you bring into a tight game the more chances you have that one of them will not be good, and that’s all it takes. These kind of games is when you miss. Barnes. The good one they gave the extension to.
  20. My point being that Brasier was the best option, and Davis not being on the roster, and I’m not saying he’s much better, but I’d rather have him then DHern, or Perez. He’ll I would have gone with 14 pitchers. Otta only facing 1 batter was puzzling too.
  21. Who do you think would have been better in that situation outside of Bra? DHern, Perez, or Davis?
  22. Bra wasn’t a better option?
  23. So why was Perez brought into a 1 run game last night?
  24. So now EO is a fool, and dumb? You are the one that said Cora gave up, and you are the one who said Perez was not the best choice to come into the game when he did, so by your own assumptions Cora gave up, or messed up, or both. You said it not me.
  25. According to Max the game was over at that point, and then he said the primary reason Perez got put into the game was to just get EO out of the game, and not to give up anymore runs.
