    0-5 in extra innings games, and the Red Sox have had the lead in the 8th inning in all five, but yet Cora doesn’t think they need a real closer. Cora for MOY.

    I’m going to say I told you so, because I told you so. Once again a blown save by a closer not named Whitlock. Yes Whitlock looks good as a starter, but tonight was just a WASTED effort, and now won’t pitch for what another 5 days, or so? The Sox have no closer, and will continue to lose games, because they have no closer. Well they do have a closer, but Cora won’t use him, so instead of using Whitlock 3-4 games a week they decide to use him 1-2, and the bullpen has to come in for 4 innings anyway. Most on here want Whitlock to start, so I guess it doesn’t bother to lose games when the Red Sox decide to score a few runs, and actually get a lead in the 8-9 innings. So once again I told you so. This is all on Cora, and Bloom.

    Once again not having a REAL closer is hurting the Red Sox, and the bad part is Bloom, and Cora don’t want one.

    You always complain about Cora’s choices, but you just don’t think you do, or would admit it. Remember your famous I don’t agree with Cora, but I don’t think he’s wrong statement. You were doing it then too.

    If the team wasn’t so listless they might have scored more runs, so telling them to score more wouldn’t have done much good.

    Maybe he should have started when the season began. The team has been pretty much listless since opening day, and that’s on Cora.

    One man on base on an error is bleeding? Who in that bullpen outside of Whit do you have so much confidence in that you think is more capable of getting a batter out in any situation, but Wacha had only thrown 60 pitches. A must win? Sat, or Sunday wasn’t important to win? Cora already makes plans like he did with Hill, and Houck last time no matter how well Hill was pitching, so he used 2 starters in one game, and only got 7 innings combined when Hill could have gone longer.

    Franchy is no 1B just because he is playing there. He dropped an easy throw, and doesn’t look good going after balls in the dirt. If anything put him out in the OF where he belongs.

    Kike certainly hasn’t secured a starting position to me, so I would say 2 options are better than 1.

    I wasn’t even talking about the pace of the game, but the game being changed so much, because of analytics.

    I would say to much money, but then again they took JBJ back for to much money on a contract that they never would have given him in the first place. It used to be that the Red Sox had no problem producing good OF, and it wasn’t to long ago they had a home grown OF, which was pretty good, but it seems at the moment the OF cupboard is pretty bare.

    Because to me it’s the analytics that controls the game to much, and I will always complain win, or lose, or not watch.

    Do you know where the Flintstone reference came from? A Schwaber groupie for a overrated player for a short time in Boston. He even made a routine play at 1B one time. You just take that the Flintstone Schwaber is meant to be a bad reference, because as one of the overwhelming traits on here is to over analyze something.
