Very good month of May? 3 HR, and 8 RBI is a very good month? Standard is set pretty low to think that, but I guess he was so bad in April that what he did in May makes him look so good. He’s not already a pretty good ball player, and hasn’t demonstrated he’s a keeper yet. Body D had a lot better streak in 2021, and he’s no keeper. True that Bello hasn’t had the hype up until now, but now he does has the hype, and is still a work in progress.

Like Sam Kennedy said last year when the Red Sox had a losing-last place in the Div finish, and didn’t make the postseason that all of baseball operations failed, and I was just agreeing with him. If you have a problem with that then fine for you.

Casas has been talked about as the next big thing for 3 years now, so if he doesn’t work out that’s not exactly a big plus going forward.

This is year 4 now of the Bloom regime, and nothing is close to being as Bloom promised as being AWESOME.

Most of the hope from some on here stems from a better rated farm system, which while better rated still might not be good enough any sustainable success. A lot is riding on Bello, and Casas right now.

The Ref Man gets a contract extension through 2024 with a team option for 2025.

Some people on here think that DD left Bloom one big mess to clean up, and I don’t believe that is true at all. If Bloom left today I believe he would be leaving a bigger mess than he found it.

Like I’ll repeat again that anything short of a postseason berth this year is a total failure.

Imagine that some actually think too that the club is in better shape today since Bloom took over than before. Yes the farm system may be higher ranked, but that doesn’t guarantee success for the big league club, and that is what’s most important.

JD 2-4 last night with his 13th HR, and 40th RBI Mookie 4-4 2 HR and now has 15 HR, and 36 RBI The best part it helped down the Yankees. Imagine that some on here were saying Mookie who like Dugy would ever really take his place, and one on here even called Mookie a Bum of a leadoff hitter.

Cora hasn’t confirmed, and said Houck would go in game #1, so I guess we’ll have to wait, and see.

JD might have sucked last year, but 28 HR, and 99 RBI in 2021 i wouldn’t call that sucking.

You show me where I said the BP is/was busted right now. Show it! Moon hasn’t show anything to raised concerns on the workload of the BP. He keeps talking about now only 1/3 through the season. I said the BP has been worked hard the last 3 days on another thread. Once again show me where I said it’s tired now, and as always relax, and have a Gansett.
