  1. Too many balls, but he always lands on his feet somewhere, and produces winners most of the time.
  2. Yes I’m almost positive JH told Bloom to not make the postseason the last two years.
  3. Good post, and as I have said about the lack of Bloom’s big time moves especially at the trade deadline the past two years that he was looking for that third option in the fork in the road.
  4. And a ticker tape it will be.
  5. It all added up to JH had enough, and he didn’t even wait to the offseason to right his wrong for hiring Bloom in the first place. I know you won’t get get over it, but Gloom, and Doom Bloom is gone, and the Red Sox will be better for it.
  6. You’ve got that right from day 1 I said hiring Bloom was a bad idea, and I was right. Blame, blame, blame on the budget, but it was his moves, or non moves, which led to the bad WL record that did him in.
  7. The MAJOR reason Bloom is gone is very SIMPLE. WL record. I’ll say it again. WL record. Seems you’ve heard that from me more than once the last two years.
  8. The name of the game is BLAME CHAIM. Give me a hell yea!
  9. I’d say this sums things up pretty well.
  10. Did you listen to Sam Kennedy today. Once again he pretty much said the Red Sox expect to be playing ball in October, which means last October, and this October, so you can hang onto the future all you want. You can go on, and on, and on about what happened before Bloom got here, but he HAD been in charge the last 4 years, and except for 2021 he, and the Red Sox have been a big failure. You look at the Bloom firing anyway you want, and as always you probably will be in the minority.
  11. The budget excuses can only get you so far, and you’ve made that excuse TMTC. He may have had some budget restrictions, but lots of teams have had them the last 4 years, and have made better decisions than Bloom has made.
  12. You still don’t get it that the priority is to be competitive now, and get into the postseason now.
  13. #1, because Bloom is gone, but #2 filling Bloom’s shoes could be an interesting solution.
  14. Outside of me who do you think is jumping for joy the most. Alex Cora!
  15. You’ve been wrong all along just like Bloom. I kept telling you over, and over that what was most important was now, and not 2-3-4 years from now, and like Cora said what the Red Sox do, or don’t do in October is also most important.
  16. Ding don’t Nloom is gone. Give me a hell yea!
  17. Kudos to JH for not waiting to the season was officially over.
  18. The sun is shining at Fenway! The Bloom Cloud is gone!
  19. GREAT NEWS. I just came in, and saw that ding dong Bloom is gone. I’m not going to say I told you so, but I was against his hiring from DAY 1. I had said many times over that the present time is the most important time, and not 2-3-4-5 years from now. He improved the farm rankings good for him, but the record of the BIG league club is most important. Same Kennedy, and Cora said it best. On Kennedy he said all of baseball ops failed last year, and by going by that have failed this year too. Cora said just recently that what the big league club does, or doesn’t do in October is most important, and that looks like another seat on the outside of the Postseason. A GREAT DAY IN Boston today is.
  20. No I understood you, and the deep part was referencing someone else. I have said for sometime now that no one knows how good The Raf Man, Abreu, and especially Duran would be next year to plug in full time, and would be a risky proposition to count on it. You know what you have in Dugy, and Yoshida is another adventure.
  21. I’ve seen him make a couple of great catches in Portland, and I think he’ll be a better complete version of JBJ.
  22. Good questions, and being deep does not necessarily mean it’s talented.
  23. That’s my point. Thin in options, or thin in talent?
  24. I heard an interview with the Sea Dogs manager yesterday, and he said that the RAF Man could play anywhere on D, but CF would be his best position. It’s good that he can play SS, but CF to me is where he belongs.
  25. I get that part, but if Dugy comes back, or is traded, or is extended changes the needs with the OF.
