  1. Leading the league in errors was, and is a BIG deal.
  2. I’m not blaming Cora outside of leaving Kike at SS way too long. Reports were that Cora was out there himself working with the guys on D.
  3. Cora had to be told to get Kike to hell off SS.
  4. If things are done right you don’t have to do a rebuild. You don’t have to finish in last place to make the farm rankings better, and cut some payroll. JH had a fallen out with JH, and that’s why he was fired. It could have been about cutting payroll, or not.
  5. It’s less about the record? It’s exactly about the record, and why the record was what it is. I keep saying here, and now is what’s most important, and being in a possible last place finish again, and watching the postseason from afar for a second straight year. I’m sure JH is all excited that the farm rankings are better like some are on here, and are willing to wait for 2025.
  6. Why to hell would you be patient with someone in charge of a last place team? DD had 4 winning seasons, and a WS.
  7. Just because of the possibility that JH never told Bloom he didn’t have to trade Betts, didn’t mean he wanted to pay him, so both could be true, so that wouldn’t mean the JH would fire him, because he did. I’m sure JH stayed out of town, when Mookie came back to Boston with all those Dodgers fans in the stands. Probably embarrassed to do a meet, and greet, and hear all the boos.
  8. Yea Kike was left at SS way too long to get experience.
  9. The question should be who is driving the turnip truck? JH, Tom, Sam, or Bloom?
  10. Bad starting pitching was hard to overcome, but all the errors, and base running blunders had not nothing to do with the starting pitching.
  11. Let’s remember there are reports out there that said Bloom was never told he had to trade Betts to stay under the CBT, but Bloom did it anyway. This was all discussed on here a few weeks back, and yes the reports were cited.
  12. You didn’t like Sam the WallMart greeter giving the company speel yesterday?
  13. The 2023 season was doomed before it even got started. To into the season with a starting rotation of a frail James Paxton, as it turned out again a fragile Garrett Whitlock, and the fragility of the king of frail himself Frail Sale. Throw in old man Kluber, and this group was supposed to get you through the season? Should have been not only no, but hell no, but not for Chaim Bloom. The when Story went down before the season even started, or spring training for that matter instead of going out, and getting a regular SS the Red Sox went with the $10M man, and that was a total disaster, which lasted for a very long time. Lost 3 of the starters, and for weeks the Red Sox went with openers, and BP games. Forget about the trade deadline, which Bloom did pick up a 2B, but the pitching staff was in shambles by that point, and because the Red Sox had 3 injured pitchers coming back who all were on pitch counts Bloom did nothing. I don’t know who sold Henry on the bill of goods of hiring Bloom, but he should be fired too. If JH thought Bloom was going to come in, and build up the farm, cut the payroll, and most importantly keep on winning he was surely fooled. Boston is not Tampa. Tampa has kept on winning without Bloom, and Boston kept on losing with Bloom. Must of picked the wrong nerd in the Tampa nerd room. I said from day 1 Bloom was a BAD signing, and it was.
  14. Even Story Land opens up today.
  15. Thanks for the correction. I can always count on you. He’s more successful in the BP, and, his durability is certainly in question as a starter, so that’s good enough for me. I’ve been beating the BP drum for two years now.
  16. This is the roll Whitlock should have right here. 6-7-8 innings set up guy. No more of that starting rotation stuff.
  17. I know it’s been a rough day for you between haggling with others, and Bloom getting the broom, so I’ll sign off, and get ready for the hurricane. I just hope you don’t take as long to get over Bloom as the time I’ve had to endure his tenure.
  18. Your context most of the time is how you see things, and interpret them.
  19. I’m back to watching the games starting today. A new beginning has begun.
  20. He always sees things that nobody else sees right, or wrong, which is most of the time. It’s not a gift, but a curse.
  21. I know your position pretty damm well. You have criticized Bloom many times. You have defended Bloom many times, and you have made excuses for Bloom many times. Anything I missed?
  22. A much needed breath of fresh air, and a new beginning.
  23. I’m sure you will defend, and support the next HOBO as vigorously as you have Bloom. I know I will.
  24. Hell yea!
  25. No! I think he took that task on all by himself.
