  1. Complain no matter what? That’s all you guys have been doing for the most part this offseason especially before the Gio signing, and Sale trade when I’ve been patient, snd said let’s wait, and see what the club looks like on March 28. All Your complaints have been loud and long. Add em up.
  2. If Gio is only with the Red Sox for 4 months that’s not a good sign of what’s happening with the Sox again. Of course if it’s longer it might be no one else wants him. Like he said himself other clubs were not lined up outside his door waiting to sign him.
  3. Most likely it will be Sam.
  4. You haven’t been able to build a rotation around Sale since 2018-2019, but the Red Sox have tried. Yes Gio will provide innings, but what kind. Yes getting rid of Dugy was the right thing to do, but I still think he’ll have a big year this year, and come back to haute Red Sox.
  5. Loved watching many aspects of this team since 2021? Was it the losing, last place in the Div finishes? Was it the stellar D being played that any Little League team would be proud of? Was it watching opener after opener, or just watching the Master Mind Chaim Bloom doing his crafty wheeling, and dealing? I guess that’s one way to look at it, but I don’t think many Red Sox fans saw it that way.
  6. One on here doesn’t get tired at all, and would still say it in 2036.
  7. Another idiotic complaint that, because I called Frail Sale as many others did not only on here, but lots of other parts of Red Sox Nation as well I wasn’t allowed to say that I think Sale will stay healthy this year, and have a good year with a lot better team in Atlanta. Imagine that! As the people at PF say just when you think things can’t get anymore ridiculous on here someone outdoes someone else, and it goes to an even lower standard. From PF to the few, but not so proud. S A L U T E.
  8. They would only go over the cap for the likes of Tommy Pham.
  9. Don’t worry Winter Weekend is only two weeks away, and JH will be there to answer all your questions. Then again maybe he won’t.
  10. And if you say anything negative on it about the trade 1 poster will come out of hibernation, and say you’re insulting the team.🙈Never mind all the real insults that posters have thrown the last few weeks from the so called super fan calling his favorite term lately of sham, sham, sham to all the other comments, because of all the non conceived notions of what full throttle meant. Those were INSULTS. The Red Sox don’t need an extra $17M-$27M, because JH has plenty of money, and he will spare no expense to make this team better.🤮 Still looking at 2035, or 2036, but everything is good.
  11. Pure conjecture, and speculation that $17M isn’t stopping the Red Sox from signing anyone now. What’s obvious to most on here especially is that the Rd Sox have a set budget to work with. I say most, but obviously not you.
  12. So if you don’t think the Red Sox couldn’t do something useful with $17M more then I can’t help you. 100% conjecture? Zero evidence? That would be that they wouldn’t do anything with the $17M extra. That goes both ways. Bottom line I’ll judge they trade how I’ll want to, and you can judge it how you want to insults, and all.i know you think you can, but you can’t tell me how I can judge a trade. $17M is not making anything up, and it may be you who’s the cynic coming out of hibernation, or not.
  13. Very simple, and I have said right along that I believe if the Braves would have paid all his contract the Red Sox could have put the $27M to better use like maybe sign a good reliable starting pitcher. All of this was said when the trade happened, so you’re just late to the party. Once again, I said in the beginning I didn’t care if the Red Sox got anything back as long as the Braves paid the whole contract, and I explained why. It’s not an insult. Once again the return was fine if there was going to be a return That doesn’t meet your standards, but WC.
  14. 👍👍👍.
  15. Yea, but usually not so generous with the payment.
  16. Let’s remember on how much time he missed before those last few starts. I don’t think the Braves can handle Sale anymore carefully than Cora did. Did you forget Cora started Kluber opening day last year, because he wanted to take the stress off Sale, and let him celebrate his Birthday?
  17. Must be that last 3 yr sample size that swayed the Braves.
  18. Create anything? I said from the very second I found out about the Red Sox having to pay $17M to the Braves that I didn’t like it. The trade was fine, but to me the payment was not. Up until that time I had been the patient one when pretty much on here when everyone else was moaning, and groaning about the perceived lack of going full throttle, and hollering sham, sham, sham. Of course you might have been in hibernation then. Complaining about the $17M is pretty mild compared to what most of the others were saying on here up to that point, and hardly an insult.
  19. Gio admitted he wasn’t a hot commodity on the FA market, so those are the kind the Red Sox like, and got their man. He’s only expecting to stick around for a year. Of course he’s got to turn things around first.
  20. This has been talked about all offseason, so what more can be said? 1 poster has been trying to get Cora’s attention all that time to get Raffy to fill in at 1B, and now he’s on to E Valdez. I don’t think either one will happen, and at the moment to me Bobby D would be the fill in at 1B, and 3B. I also don’t think the 26 man that will take the field on Mar 28 is all set, and I still expect more comings, and goings, before the season starts, so outside of that talk on.
  21. Long list, but I’d say this just about covers it. Will Cora stay a lame duck manager?
  22. I know that’s the way it looks now, but I keep on thinking there will be some kind of trade involving some OF.
  23. Anything is possible with the Boston Red Sox when it comes to trying to fit a square peg in a round hole.
  24. I didn’t even know it was settled who would be playing in CF, and RF next year let alone who’s backing them up. Wow!
  25. Worrying about the likes of E Valdez is just mind boggling. Talksox front, and center.
