What’s making it more exhaustive is the number of candidates who wouldn’t even interview that I don’t think Kennedy counted on when he made that statement.

He was fired, and suspended by MLB. After his suspension was up JH hired him back through Bloom. Point? And now he has more power than he’s ever had.

I keep hearing Bloom’s mission was to build a better farm, which was part of it, but not the main part, which turned out to be at the expense of the big league club. The goal always has to be fielding a competitive team that gets into the postseason, which Bloom couldn’t do his last two years.

Really? That’s all you got? He was suspended for a year, and came right back when that was up.

The only one who could turn on Cora, so that he wouldn’t be safe is JH.

I don’t believe There is NOTHING any clearer than Cora being safe. I think Cora was safe when Bloom got hired.

Like Cora said after meeting with JH, and Tom, and told them he’s not ready for a chair in the FO he told reporters he’s safe. That to me not only means immunity, but he has more of a say in things that he had before.

I agree on Cora, and think JH is the main problem. Click is a buddy of Bloom, I’m sure DD had a talk with Fuld, and they all see the job security isn’t to secure in Boston.

I think it says something too that an in-house candidate refused an interview too.

It’s amazing to me that so many blame JH for Bloom’s failure, and like no other person in charge could have done better under the same circumstances like if Bloom failed anyone else would too. I disagree, and like I said on another post if JH had given Bloom a blank check he probably still would have been a FAILURE. To :e he didn’t deserve another year, and I’m POSITIVE Cora feels the same way.

It is TOTALLY reasonable for fans to wonder when money isn’t spent especially with ticket prices go up every year. I don’t think Bloom would have had a clue what do do with it anyway even if JH gave him a blank check, and would still be his indecisive self, and operate the same way.

Good post, and obsessively is a good word that describes what goes on way too often on here. I’ve been on message boards, and other forums for many, many years plus listening to, and participating in many talk shows, and just many discussions from bowling alleys to clubs to just around the water cooler at work, and I’ve never encountered anything like this, or anyone like on here. I’ve never been called a hater before either, or go root for another team. Winning would most likely changed lots of perceptions, but it didn’t happen.

I point out everyday that no one wants to work for JH? It’s all over the internet, or are you blind to all of that? You make it sound like I’m the only one doing it. Get a grip with reality that the Red Sox are not as highly regarded around MLB as you think they are, and you can blame JH for a lot of that, but Bloom gets his share too. The Boston Red Sox being a losing, last place in the Div team will do that to you. Firing DD was not a good look after the record he had. We keep going round, and round on the basher thing. I’ve criticized Bloom as much as anyone since day 1, and have admitted it proudly. You call criticism of Bloom bashing. I don’t. I don’t remember how long ago I told you I had Basher shirts made up, and named the Bowling team that, but it was at least two months ago. Get off the hiding thing like you are a big super fan, because you bailed on the 2022 team, and showed your true colors. Mic drop.

I told you long ago that I had Bloom Basher t shirts made up, and had changed our bowling team to that name, so don’t act like this is something new.

Low bar it is,but I believe that even if JH doesn’t change his thinking, or ways a new person in charge should be able to do what Bloom couldn’t do like the things you mentioned.

I don’t mention any kind of squad myself. Moon is far from any victim, and has no problem calling people Bloom Bashers. No one, and I mean no one that I know of on here, or anywhere else has defended Bloom more than Moon has, and you know that. On the other hand I have criticized Bloom as much as anyone, but I’ve been pretty mild compared to what I’ve heard other places.
