    Wow..just checked..still hitting just .169 with 350 at bats....and he's been under 200 all year. is he still a major leaguer? man I am glad we passed on the extension.

    Im tellin ya, if you want a laugh, google some of the Yankee talkshows or whatever they are on YouTube...they are in full meltdown mode..saying things like "Why doesnt our team have a personality like the Red Sox with the laundry cart/etc".....its almost as good as October '04.

    Yeah he's been sucking @ .156...but JBJ is hitting .175 with a 2yr/$24 mill contract...I guess I over valued him as a $5 mill/year type...man Im glad we passed on him as a FA despite really liking him over the years.

    Im sorry but when I read this article, the part where he whines about rookie hazing & having to get the beer & not riding the elevator until after the veterans, well Mookie you come across like a whiny little bitch.     I dont like the idea of moving guys around in the outfield because Fenway has idiosyncrosies (sp) in all fields & the players wont get enough comfort & knowledge if they are constantly moved around.

    While I admire Matt Barnes sticking up for his teammate JBJ....the reason he is not signed isnt on the teams, its on JBJ & Boras. Did Jackie actually think he was getting 3-4 years @ 15-20 mill/per year? Jackie my man..its March 1st ok...youve already gotten your best offer.

    I guess Im a bit surprised at the route that my Remy comments took. My intent was that with all that we learned about how he handled not just his murder sons upbringing, but his other 2 worthless spawn children, I was & am surprised that he is still in the booth. Yet if a guy says a players English is bad among other stupid comments, he's a racist that needs to go.

    It will be JBJ if this article is any indication of what other teams think of him....this guy who wrote the article is all over a 1 yr deal for Jackie to either platoon or move to left or right.     Gomes was even more fun as a color announcer...I learned a lot listening to him. One game, he explained that the way to win games was to "touch the plate more than the other team"!!!!
