    It will be JBJ if this article is any indication of what other teams think of him....this guy who wrote the article is all over a 1 yr deal for Jackie to either platoon or move to left or right.     Playing devils advocate here...any chance that he unknowingly took a supplement? I dont know much about steroids & supplements but I find it unbelievable that 2 yrs after getting caught he does it again.

    I have no issues with paying him his contract...its really kinda pointless keeping him on the 40 man...and he should understand that. He'll be 37, hasnt played for 4 yrs by 2021...and I havent heard encouraging reports on him.

    This thread is cooling off...lets spice it up...Lets say the Dodgers win the WS & Mookie is a beast. The media goes overboard with how stupid the red sox were to trade him etc. And...lets say its true that Mookie made it clear he was not to resign here. As the media massacre gets worse & worse...at some point does/should Mookie step up & say I told them I wanted to move on? Or does he sit there & let the Sox take all the $hit? I expect some good retorts on this....dont disappoint me!

    Personally, Id like to thank Roenicke...he took a job knowing he was only a yr fill in & it was going to be a horrendous team, and he ended up with the pandemic as well. Thanks Ron...you kept it classy all season. Good luck.

    I was surprised he didnt opt out after last year..yeah I know it was several million dollars but he had already made more than he could ever spend & if he opted out it wouldve shown that he had the fire to be a major leaguer.

    Why? If we are truly to be a color blind society...judge him on his ability, not as a "token" (not meant to be offensive but it sounds like youre saying keep him because he is black?). JBJ is a 1st class human being & I love watching him play, but he is likely not offered a contract for next year so if you can get something for 30 games of him, do it. Im sure he understands as well.
