    What bull pen? Oh, you mean maybe two fellas that can get outs? I can already see Cora putting Barnes in a Jam multiple times in this series. Bases loaded/two in scoring position.. etc. Barnes will be burnt out well before the post season if this continues, if we make it that far. Dombrowski better be putting his ear to the ground and zeroing in on a solution.

    No question about it. Cora’s managerial style was win today and worry about tomorrow, tomorrow and it worked. We’re Champs! Kimbrel was good enough, Kelly and Eovaldi has great moments. If the goal every year is to win a WS, then excuse my lingo but they f***ing need to zero in and focus on this like hawks. We have a good team here with one clear weakness. Deal with the goddamn weakness. I mean, s***'s gotta get done no matter what. Wins come first, period. The question now is how long will management look the other way before fixing this? Part of me wants another s*** show performance tonight so they can really get on the horn and make it happen.. and I’m not just talking about ONE move. I just feel that we need to add two reliable arms by the first week of June. This team has been treading water all season long and I think we’re all sick of it.

    Most of the members on this board may have unrealistic expectations pertaining to just how strong a BP has to be.. me included. Yet how can a team expect to win post season games without at least a good/very good pen? Is it irrational to expect a few dominant arms out of the pen these days? Either way, the Red Sox do not have a top ten pen, far from it. And it’s a glaring issue at the moment.

    Who do you trust out of the pen other than Barnes and maybe Workman? Cora has two guys that can get outs. That’s about it.
