    There’s no denying that. No team would want that no matter where they end up in the standings.

    At this point, the Sox are playing for the opportunity to play a WC game down in Tampa Bay. That’s all. The underperforming by virtually every everyday player thus far (with the exception of Devers) has made for a .500 ball club. Who in the world would have thought that we would be sitting at .500 by the end of May.. Chris Sale is 1-7. The Red Sox are 3-9 in games that he's started. It's completely unfathomable. If you simply reverse that, and have the Sox at 9-3 in games that Sale has started (which would make a hell of a lot more sense in a real baseball world), the Sox would be 35-22 and none of us would be worrying about much of anything.

    Part of me wants the April Sox to be the 2019 Sox so we can get a good pick. We were a few outs away from being five games over and it’s been a debacle ever since. DD do you read?

    Who is the leader of this team? Do they have one? Two? A few chairs need to be thrown and a team meeting needs to be had. An honest one with some perspective because obviously whatever they are doing isn’t working. I honestly do not know if this team has what it takes to turn things around with this roster. Yet with this payroll, there is no reason to be looking up in the standings to not one, but two teams. It’s an embarrassment to Red Sox Nation. I need a brandy.

    We need to change every teams name to the name of the city, followed by Major League Baseball Team. But i’m Sure some people would still bitch.

    He did. But for the love of God, where is the fire in this team? They mope through an inning at a time, and just seem indifferent. Whatever happens happens. Cora needs to take some heat for this, and he will.

    So this team lays an egg vs Cleveland, including that debacle when they were up 5-2, and their response is a lifeless gutless performance in NY. Decisions need to be made if the Red Sox want to contend this year. Three straight games full of non sense. It’s difficult to stomach.. but I do hope that they turn it around.

    Someone needs to throw a few things around in the dugout man. This trash is unacceptable. This entire team is sleepwalking through the reg season so far. And I hate to admit it, but there are more issues than just the pen. This team is poorly managed at the moment.
