    DP will only go 4 in his first start. He will be on a pitch count so that should eliminate the QS.

    I'm with Slasher here... We have to look at options to trade Mookie for elite prospects. One way or the other the farm has to get more talent that we can pull from. We may very well be looking at losing draft picks with the MLB investigation so we need to strike while we can. Go out and get SP's and a 2B. Hell make two trade possibilities in Mook straight up for a SP and top rated prospects and go ahead and package JBJ and Evoladi.

    After seeing what the Astros just got hit with and sources are saying AC is going to be hit hard too. What if anything comes of this and our possible sign stealing escapade?

    The Robo Ump to me seems to kill the authenticity of the game. Its a baseball game based on tradition. Umps will always make a mistake on a call.. it's called human error and no one on this planet is perfect. One ump may give a inch or two in or out. These multimillionaire players and pitchers we have should be good enough to deal with the situation of a difference in one ump from the other. You don't hear any pitchers bitching when they get that called K on a pitch just out of the zone, and you don't see a batter looking back at the ump when ball four was actually a ball that crossed the black and should've been a K saying sorry big guy you missed that and I will not take my base on ball four.... C'mon guys the robo ump isn't how this game was ever intended to be played.

    I was looking into the astronomical number of HR hit so far and realized all last season there were 26 players who hit 30 Hr or more for the entire season! Up to this point in the season there are 36 guys who have 30 or more already. By seasons end there can and mostly will be 55 players eclipse the 30 mark. As an organization, should be be looking into guys for the future with better exit velo and launch angle. I hate to admit it but the Yanks seem to have a guy come in and rake no matter the name on the back of the jersey.

    Moon for GM..... gotta see what the other guys can do. If they come up and are dead weight we know what we are looking for in the off season and who can actually contribute in 2020. I agree on Price 100%... If Sale does need TJ we will need a healthy Price going forward in 2020

    To put it plain and simple this season is shot. With 24 games left we can't expect to catch anyone at this point. We would need a complete meltdown from Oak and Cleveland. Even if we went 18-6 they would need to go 12-12 the rest of the way.... Not happening! That falls completely on DD. No chance in hell you make a push with guys like BJ, HV and Rick(I'll give you 95 pitches before the 5th) Porcello for the stretch. Play the youngsters and see what they got, use the last 20 or so and see what the future may hold.

    This may be totally wrong to say... However, is it time to think 2020 and limit the innings Erod will pitch to close out this season? Give DHern a couple starts to see if he could steal a rotation spot next season.

    Why don't they just go ahead and do the TJ surgery. It has been just a matter of time before that elbow became a long term problem. The injection that was used is not just a typical cortisone shot... there has to be a slight tear in there and yeah we may give him a 6 month break in hopes it heals itself but we all see the writing on the wall and how this plays out.... He comes back in late April/May and says and maybe even shows a good arm and then wham around the trade deadline another stint on the IL and then has TJ and we don't see him until 2022. Expect him out until June 2021 and start the trading process to rebuild and get some damn arms and actual MLB talent coming from the minors.

    How will we make KC look really good today... Let's start by keeping bats in the lineup who are hitting around what they weigh, and let's go ahead and put Sandy behind the plate and have him call some great location to pad the stats of Soler. Seems like a pretty good equation for another KC win.

    Do we just expect too much from this team or did all the stars align last season! Was last season a fluke or can we pin point what in the hell is going on. Why are our pitchers so freaking bad, why do we only hit in every 5th game or so, why can’t we go the other way against a shift( you’re a professional baseball player for gods sake, stay behind the baseball) why do we continue to keep guys in the lineup that can’t hit their weight.... lots of why’s on this team!

    I'm on the same page as Moon here... This team needs a good shot in the ass. There seems to be no fire or passion. I mean hell, Big Papa getting shot and almost dying couldn't lite a fire in their asses what can? If we lose 2-3 this weekend....lights out and the show is over.

    Point blank.... we are terrible in so many ways! This team doesn’t deserve a WC spot! Hell give it to the teams that are playing with passion and fire and determination! There is no leadership on this team! And why does Cora continue to play worthless sacks of elephant dung? Pitching is terrible, hitting is terrible, defense at times is terrible, coaching is terrible in every aspect of the game! Such a theme here in 2019!

    Don't get me wrong here, I'm a defensive guy to the bone and love great plays in the OF. However, it's not like JBJ is making the run saving play as often or even being the best to roam CF in MLB. His inconsistency is killing his spot in the lineup. Can a player be added to the 40 man this late in the season. The reason I ask that, we have Rusney getting paid more than most guys that are actually starting in the league. He seems to be putting up decent numbers and maybe his bat would be an upgrade. Hell, maybe bring up Duran and see how the show effects him and see if he has the potential to be the future in CF. I know all this may actually happen when the roster is expanded come September.

    All that I am saying is that, we could've(should've) dangled him out there and tried to pull some RP out of SF and JBJ should've been the piece to make that happen. However, if's and butt's were candy and nuts we would all have a Merry Christmas
