  1. I agree with you on both parks. I liked Camden very much, been there a few times. First time was in 1996 watching the Yanks win the pennant there. Actually got interviewed by the local radio station, WBAL. I also liked the Rangers ballpark, designed by the same guy that did Camden. Had to walk pretty far from where we parked, but over all a pretty good park.
  2. The sox are very fortunate that it hasn't cost them any games.
  3. Actually team loyalty has nothing to do with whether one is a troll or not. Like you said, slasher laid out the "bait" and I fell for it. That's the very definition of a troll.
  4. I was surprised at how they rated the marlins park. The park itself is nice, aside from the colors (it looks like the Easter Bunny puked). They do have a cool bobble head display that includes players from every team. Food is pretty good, great view of the miami skyline beyond the Budweiser Bowtie Bar in CF. Thankfully Jeter is finally getting his way and they are removing that hideous HR sculpture. It will now be outside the stadium and that area is being converted to a multi level kid friendly area from what I have read. The biggest drawback is the parking situation. If you park in one of the two parking garages you could be there for hours trying to get out. The other choice is to find a spot on one of the side streets. Many people in the area let people park on their property. The price will vary depending on who is playing. For most teams you are looking at $5-10, but they gouge when a team like the Yanks are in town $20-40.
  5. Yeah, nothing worse than paying to go to a game and have an obstructed view.
  6. So you are admitting that slasher is a troll. Thanks.
  7. Well, I don't take slasher's tone that way since it is not his first attempt to turn threads political. He has a history of that.
  8. That's a valid point. They would lose too much revenue.
  9. I don't remember Matsui hitting a HR off a camera, but I do remember pedro (6.30 ERA, 7 earned in 10 innings) taking 2 losses that series including the clincher.......
  10. I guess you are just dense, he brought it up first, plain and simple. And you could have just ignored my response but chose not to. I'm gonna go with dense.......
  11. You probably don't remember it because it never happened......
  12. The only one trolling here is you, as usual. I posted a baseball related topic for debate in the general baseball category. You, on the other hand, decided to troll. No surprise there..........
  13. You're an idiot. You even shared the post that showed that I did not bring politics into this.........
  14. Hardly, I think the sox deserve to win as they have been the better team thus far. I just think that was a horrible call, pretty simple.
  15. But yet you asked me a question and now have responded. You can't make this s*** up........
  16. So your post reaffirms what I said, slasher was the first to bring it up. Thanks.
  17. I didn't eat there, was just at the bar. Did have some of their homemade potato chips though, pretty good.
  18. Incorrect, certainly not "in a context about sports"......
  19. Well, if you are referring to who brought it up originally and not in just this recent case it was slasher, go back and look if you want.
  20. I went to Harry Caray's restaurant in Chicago. They have the blown up Bartman ball in a showcase in the waiting area. LOL
  21. I get why many die hards want to keep fenway, as I was torn when they decided to take down the old Yankee Stadium. On one hand you have all the tradition, but with poor seating, insufficient restrooms, etc. On the other hand we now have a very nice updated stadium, smaller lines for both concessions and bathrooms, pretty awesome museum but it has lost much of it's charm and feels sterile.
  22. Incorrect, you brought it up on the previous page. Short term memory failing you?
  23. I think someone has already tried the "closer by committee", no?
  24. I disagree but I'm not going to be dragged into a political discussion on here. Keep it to baseball.
  25. How many have you guys and girls attended? I have been to 5 on this list. https://www.thesportster.com/baseball/mlb-ballparks-that-are-overrated-and-underrated/
