  1. 33 to get 3 outs, total POS
  2. Chapman is the only one I would not rather have than this thrower
  3. Matt Barnes does not have the ability or the guts to be a closer. he has sucked previously and will again and again
  4. When Barnes hits 20 pitches level, he will implode, don't have to wait long
  5. Yes a curve that Vaz can't block
  6. 6-9 go 1 for 14 with Marwin and Chavis K'ing every time up. Lead off double by Devers and no one can even advance him to third where there are 13 different ways to score
  7. How many games this year has one of the 6-9 guys K'ed every f'ing time they get up? I don't know the # but add one more from Marwin LongGonzales
  8. This time no joking around. They will need a total of 3 runs to win this one.
  9. getting a little bit that feeling same as 8th inning yesterday
  10. The Sox lineup is either All-Stars or no stars, nothing in between
  11. Definitely need some more runs to avoid a shot at a tie or to keep Barnes from another blown save.
  12. Laureano wastes Pivetta for the 8th
  13. He is also saving the BP some more grief. So who pitches the 8th ? If Nick is still under 100, I let him go batter to batter until someone gets on base.
  14. Just no apparent improvement in pitch recognition by MC.
  15. Keep the line moving Bobby D. Now we can get the top of lineup for the 8th
  16. Our 6-9 hitters today have a combined BA of .800 . But they are really great teammates so that's why BA is an irrelevant stat
  17. Pivetta is a 3 towel man. The clubhouse managers nightmare
  18. Vazquez does catch the tough foul pops
  19. Realize that when Chris Sale does return maybe mid August, he's very likely to begin with a sequence of 3-4-5 innings so he better bring a designated reliever with him from Worcester
  20. No commentary from Jacksonian extolling the virtues of NYY'ers vs the lowly rebuilding , no shot Sox ?
  21. Wonder how long in the early days of baseball did defensive positioning develop so that the majority of hit balls went right at a defensive player ?
  22. Game changing opportunity right here, Rafi
  23. Pivetta pitching a big time QS but getting no help from a lineup WooSox would be proud to field
  24. It's actually sad that the Sox last two power prospects , Dalbec and Chavis, fail to hit the ball 3 times out of 4 today, and consistently walk back to the dugout 35-40% of the time.
  25. drop the word BETTER, does not apply
